Weaponary (formally known as Kabudo) is a type of karate which only weapons can be used.
Weapons in karate originated in the early 1600's, as Japan conquered the Ryukyu Islands, Okinawa.
Weapons were then used as the normal 'empty hand way' wouldn't win the war to fight those with weapons.
Another part of Karate began that day.
Its set out like a religion;
It has more than one part to it as there is more then 1 religion.
Weapons used in Weaponary (Kabudo)
- Nunchaku - Known as nun-chucks
- Bo - Wooden stick
- Tonfa - Smaller/Thicker then an original Bo
- Kama - A sharp razor blade.
- Sai - 3 Blades, the middle blade longer then the other sides.
- Shuriken - Ninja star type
